Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative is seeking a highly organized, motivated and safety-conscious individual who is currently pursuing, or has completed, a degree or certification in linework or a related field.
Internship starting in June 2026 and ending in October 2026.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with linework and maintenance
- Climbing poles and operating aerial basket
- Ability to carry up to 80 lbs
- Ability to operate manual equipment such as a chain saw
- Ability to communicate with a diverse group of members
- Ability to work in extreme cold and hot conditions for extended periods of time
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Missouri CDL for operations of vehicles over 26,000 pounds
Supplemental training will be provided to successful candidate.
Wage based on experience and training needs.
