Due to the extreme high temperatures, Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative is entering a PEAK ALERT period. Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative is asking members to alternate the use of major appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves NOW until 7 p.m. If a peak electrical demand is reached it could cost the cooperative and members hundreds of thousands of dollars in future years. Remember you can make a difference.
