HOEC held Fire Fighter Safety training earlier this week at the Howell Rural Fire Department Classroom. Ty Whittaker, educator with Sho-Me Power, led the training and discussion with the 35 fire fighters. They reviewed safety regarding power lines and talked through scenarios they might face.
Today (Thursday, Dec. 19) at 3:50 p.m. there will be a planned power outage east of Mountain View for 244 members. Linemen will be shutting off the power to safely make needed repairs and replace a pole. The issue was identified today and needs to be repaired. This is a planned outage for 244 members east of Mountain View and should last approximately 1-1/2 hours.

Several HOEC employees and family members decorated the Live Line Demo trailer and rode along in the West Plains Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14th.
