HOEC will close at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2025 for an all-employee training day. Dispatch will be available in the event of an outage. You can report an outage, check your usage and pay your bill though the SmartHub mobile app for your phone or the SmartHub Web link at the top of our website. The office will open as usual at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.

Our Annual Meeting will be at the West Plains Civic Center Friday May 2nd, 2025, at 7:00pm. To allow our team time to prepare, the HOEC business office will close at 1:00pm.

After the strong line of storms and wind moved through the area yesterday, a beautiful rainbow shone bright. Here are a couple of pictures, one from our linemen who were working this weekend and another from a friend who shared the whole rainbow with us! Just a reminder of the beauty of the Ozarks and our world, even after the destruction.

We still have 65 members remaining without power from yesterday's storms, mostly in Willow Springs with a few in Dora and Vanzant. Dispatch is aware of the outages and crews are working to restore power. Thank you for your patience, and be sure to stay away from downed power lines.
