Recently, Dan Singletary was inducted into the Cooperative Hall of Fame, an award from The Missouri Institute of Cooperatives (MIC). As a member-focused organization, MIC is driven by the mission to empower cooperatives and strengthen their impact.
Rural Missouri magazine honored Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative, West Plains, as the electric cooperative with the best storm response during a presentation of the magazine's 2025 High Voltage Awards on Oct. 16.
Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative (HOEC), West Plains, was one of 35 Missouri electric cooperatives recognized for working safely. Employees of the cooperative have now worked a total of 332,395.50 hours without a lost time accident.
HOEC is seeking a highly organized and motivated individual with proven skills to work on a full time basis with opportunity for advancement. Preference given to candidates who have utility industry experience.
