Phishing attacks are a sneaky way for cybercriminals to trick you into revealing sensitive information, like your login credentials or financial details. To combat the threat of phishing attacks, HOEC is introducing an extra layer of protection for your SmartHub account: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
You can enable 2FA on your SmartHub account today. In SmartHub Web you'll find it under Settings > Two-Factor Authentication. In the SmartHub Mobile App, look in More > Settings > Security > Two-Factor Authentication.
With 2FA, your account is safer from unauthorized access. It's simple: you'll enter a unique code sent by text message or email in addition to your usual login username and password. This makes it harder for cybercriminals to get into your account, even if they somehow manage to get your password. It's still a good idea to choose complicated passwords and save them in a password manager.
Take control of your account security and enroll in 2FA today.
