Due to continuing extreme heat, HOEC has issued a PEAK ALERT. Please alternate or avoid use of major appliances (washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves) until 7 pm. Unplug unused chargers and devices. Raise thermostats a few degrees if possible. If a new peak electrical demand is set it could cost the cooperative and members hundreds of thousands of dollars in the future.
