Ripley Energy Center

The all new Ripley Energy Center, under construction by AECI near Ripley, Oklahoma, will meet the energy needs of members across the region. The facility will operate as a natural gas peaking unit, which will be available to quick-start and run on-demand during periods of peak energy use, allowing members the power they need during the hot and cold peak times.

PEAK ALERT - Tuesday July 29

Due to extreme heat, HOEC has issued a PEAK ALERT. Please alternate or avoid use of major appliances (washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and stoves) from 2 pm until 7 pm today. Raise thermostats a few degrees if possible. If a new peak electrical demand is set it could cost the cooperative and members hundreds of thousands of dollars in the future.

Remember, you can make a difference.
