Emma Combs and Jordyn Ritchie, both incoming seniors at Couch High School, were among numerous high school students from across Missouri who participated in the Missouri Electric Cooperative CYCLE (Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience) program. The conference was held July 13-15, 2022 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Jefferson City. They were sponsored by Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative.

The CYCLE program is a three day leadership conference held annually in Jefferson City in late July. It brings in some of the best and brightest young leaders from across Missouri. The focus is to show students more about electric cooperatives, teach leadership skills and experience Missouri state government. The program includes nationally known speakers, tours of great Missouri museums, and a day at the state Capitol.
