Rebate Program Begins July 1st, 2008
 Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP)
 Rebate is 350.00 per ton, after completion, proof of purchase, and
 Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative inspection          
        Reguirements:

• Rebate will only apply for replacement of electric resistance heat or new construction
• Efficiency rating of a Delta T of 80
• Backup heat on separate breaker or a two stage thermostat required (electric backup will be allowed) 
• Insulation: R-38 ceilings, R-13 walls

Electric Water Heaters
Rebate is $100.00 per unit after installation, proof of purchase,
 and Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative inspection
        Requirements

• Energy Factor rating of .90 or greater
• Rebate will only apply for replacement of existing electric unit for a newer higher efficiency unit.

Air Source Heat Pumps/Dual Fuel
Rebate is $150.00 per ton, after completion, proof of purchase,
and Howell-Oregon Electric Cooperative inspection
       
Requirements

• Replacement of electric resistant heat (EX: electric furnance, baseboard heat, cable heat) or new construction
• Must use propane or natural gas for backup heat (cannot ad air source heat pump to existing gas furnace)

• minumum SEER rating of 13

Energy Star rated Clothes Washers and Dishwashers
Rebate is $100.00 (clothes washers),  $50.00 diswashers
  
 Requirements

• Replacement of appliance with energy star rated appliance
• Requires electric water heater to be present
